In our last post I showed you how to maximize your KR while grinding your way up to level 20 and today I’ll be teaching you how to flip items in the Krunker marketplace like a pro.
We left off by grinding our way up to 5K or more and although we have an empty inventory that’s not a concern for us. Our goal now is to buy items below their value and then re-list them for maximum profit which we’re going to do in a minute. The concept sounds easy but there are definitely things you should be aware of before buying, selling or trading in krunker.
So as of today guys there are over 4400 items in Krunker and the first thing you need to know is that the values of these items are always changing. A 5K item today could be worth 4 or maybe 6K next week, so it’s important you do your homework to know what direction an item is trending before buying.
Now guys market flipping requires a lot of patience as finding the right items to buy within your budget can be a time consuming process. That said, with so many items in the game we’re going to focus our energy on four primary categories to start with and get to know the value of their items. Since trading or selling items can often depend on how demanded an item is, let’s start by looking at the most common items; the legendary melees, relic melees, relic aks and relic snipers. These should all fit within or near budget and have a lot of demand in game.
Keep in mind that melees tend to have the most demand of any item below 10K in the game. Every player needs a melee and they’ll often overpay to get it. You might be surprised to hear that a dirt cheap contra is worse to have in your inventory for trading than a relic melee of equal value, so keep that I mind for the future.
Now guys I want you to avoid cosmetics for now such as faces and hats, or rarely used classes like semi autos, rocket launchers, or even shotguns, it’s honestly just hard as nails to make profit off these items. These are really just best suited for adds when you need additional value in order to complete a trade.
We’ll get in to trading next video but for now let’s start searching our main categories for some snipes. Now it’s important you search one category at a time because when selecting multiple categories there are often items that end up missing in the results. That’s been an odd bug I’ve noticed in the marketplace for years so it’s best to just do one at a time.
By default the search results will always show the cheapest items first. Keep in mind the marketplace lacks the ability to load more results than what’s shown, so some mid-range items you might be looking for need to be searched individually.
So guys when you’re first getting started you should just get to know each item and their value by clicking on their info link which will give you a graph showing daily sales from the past 4 months. So before we buy any item or do any trade for that matter, we must take a look at these sales charts. Just note that if you’re looking at one month of data, than the estimate you’re seeing is based on one month of sales.
In order to figure out what’s a good buy for us, we need to do some basic math. Every item you list in the marketplace will cost you a 10% list fee. So that means listing an item for 5000 will cost us 500 in an upfront fee, leaving us with 4500 revenue when it’s all said and done. If we want to list an item for 5000 KR and make PROFIT then ideally we want to aim to buy an item for 20% below its expected value.
After searching for 20 minutes I finally spot a Scorched AK that I know is listed at a good price of 4K. I take a look at its sales graph to confirm that its worth at least 5K just as I thought and snipe it. I bought it for exactly 20% below value, just as we were looking for.
Now we have to decide what’s the highest we can safely list it. I opted for 5300 and so I listed it for 5299 which would net us about 770KR profit.
Now because we want people to actually see it, it’s important we list it in the discord servers of Krunker Bunker and KMT by taking a quick screenshot and pasting it in.
Now here’s a little pro tip, if you want to take a quick screenshot just hold down the windows button, shift button and press S – this simple tool lets you copy an image to your clipboard wherever you highlight and then you can jump in to the discord servers to quickly paste your image.
Lucky for me, I saw my KR spike just 30 minutes later and I knew the AK had sold.
